Eduardo Ramento

BARANGAY BAGUPAYE, QUEZON PROVINCE

Meet Eduardo Ramento, 41 years old.

He lives in a makeshift house. His mother passed away recently from a disease and his father died from an accident a few years back.

Unfortunately, luck was not on his side. Just a month ago, on a night while he was selling balut (duck eggs) and bread on a bicycle he borrowed from a friend, he became a victim of a hit-and-run incident. Because of this accident, he needed medical care but due to lack of money, he wasn't able to get all the test that needed to be done. He would like to go back to selling food but is now unable to loan some duck eggs to sell at night.

Our main goal is to give Eduardo a small capital so he can start earning a living.

A bicycle and some extra food supplies are on the list too.

Your sponsorship or donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.

Ramento Family

MULANAY, QUEZON PROVINCE

This family relies on scraping leaves off palm leaves to make broom and burning wood in dug-up holes to make charcoal to sell so they can buy food for their children.

The parents, being 'no read no write' (illiterate) do not want the same fate happen to their children, who currently

are way behind schooling because of poverty. The eldest 12 years old and 9 years old are both still in year 2

With a sponsorship, we will be able to deliver food, school supplies and their personal requests to have a couple of plywood and tin roofing s that they can make their make-shift house a little bit more sturdy when rain or typhoon comes.
